Administrative and Clerical Support  

Volunteers on an as-needed basis during business hours to assist parish staff with mailings, bulletin stuffings, etc. 

Bishop Anthony G. Bosco Center

Volunteers are needed to continually help in the general maintenance of our Catholic Center.  You name it, we need your help! 

Bishop Bosco Center Athletic Association

Dedicated to preserving a spiritual and athletic environment for the youth of St. Agnes, Queen of Angels School and adjoining parishes instilling the importance of team spirit, winning and losing with dignity and the importance of religion in our everyday lives. 

Catholic Daughters of the Americas

An inter-parochial organization for Catholic women who participate in religious, charitable and educational apostolate of the Church. 

Centering Prayer Group
All are welcome to join and learn how to focus on God within oneself using a contemplative prayer form called Centering Prayer.  The root of Centering Prayer is interior silence.

Christian Mothers and Ladies Guild

An organization for all Catholic women who, through their fundraisers and projects, create an atmosphere of spirituality, fellowship and Christian charity. 

Emerald Club

Organized for members of St. Agnes and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parishes, 50 years of age and older, to provide spiritual guidance, social activities and information pertinent to senior citizens.  All members enjoy the closeness of parish family and lives are richer for it.

Fish Fry

Become a part of the team that prepares the pierogi and noodles and cabbage before the Fish Fry or help out each Friday of Lent cooking, serving or working the clean-up crew. 

Garden Club

Volunteers beautify our parish grounds by planting flowers, shrubs and trees, watering and weeding. 

Health Ministry Group

An organization of those in the medical profession who promote wellness through blood drives, blood pressure screenings and work on getting other health-related information to the sick and homebound.  Parishioners in any health related fields are invited to join.  

Knights of Columbus

St. Jude Council #9019 is an inter-parochial, fraternal organization for Catholic men working to help the parish and Church at large through its many projects.

Legion of Mary

A group that meets weekly for Legion prayers and prays for and visits the sick at homes, hospitals, personal care and nursing homes.  They provide literature, rosaries and green scapulars for those who request them.  The Legion of Mary also conducts small prayer services twice a month at several personal care homes and at Briarcliff Nursing home. 

Men’s Club

A men’s group organized to promote and encourage fraternal and spiritual fellowship among the men of our parish by working together on various parish projects and participating in club sponsored social activities. 

Ministry of Care

Staffed by volunteers trained to give spiritual care and support to the sick, homebound and those with special needs, this ministry believes that a test of our love for God is how we care for each other.  Members deliver gifts and cards to the sick and homebound on holidays. The Ministry of Care also has a group who visit Westmoreland Manor on a regular basis to help take wheelchair patients to various liturgies throughout the year.  

 Neighborhood Faith Groups

Small groups who gather in the homes of the members to discuss their faith and grow in love of God and neighbor.

Parish Bazaar

A yearly parish event that helps to encourage the spirit of fellowship as we work, eat and play together.  Always needed are organizers, booth chairpeople, booth workers, bakers, cooks and laborers to set up and tear down.   

Parish Newsletter

Published periodically throughout the year, the newsletter features articles from the priests, parishioners and organizations on timely topics, happenings and events in our parish. 

Region 7 Respect Life Group

Dedicated to promoting the life issues of the Church within our parish and the community at large.  The Region 7 Respect Life Group coordinates a bus trip each year to the annual March for Life, the 9-Hour Novena and Mass for Life, the Life Chain held in Irwin, and other  programs to support life issues throughout the year.

Rosary Group

Those devoted to praying the Rosary weekly in church for the special intentions of our church, community and the world.  You are welcome to join the Rosary Group any Friday evening in church at 9:00 p.m. to pray the Rosary.

Scouts

St. Agnes charters Boy Scouts Pack 293, for boys age 6 through 18.  Several Girl Scout Troops, ranging in age from 5 through 18, also meet at St. Agnes.  Scouting is an excellent way to develop responsible, healthy, wholesome children and build self-esteem, character and love of their faith. 

Spaghetti Dinner

Spaghetti dinners are held once a month on a Thursday  evening in Resurrection Hall.  Help is needed for food preparation, setting up, cashier, serving, bussing tables and clean-up. 

St. Vincent de Paul

Dedicated to providing spiritual and material aid to the needy through their works at the food bank, holiday baskets, the Giving Tree and special collections. 

Stewardship Commission

A commission developed to promote Stewardship as a way of life within all aspects of our parish community.  We enable people to connect with the ministries that utilize their God-given gifts and talents.  The Commission works to educate parishioners in sacrificial giving and is developing a program for welcoming new parishioners. 

Vocations Committee

Promote prayer and support for vocations to the Priesthood, the Diaconate and religious life.  Identify potential individuals.
